Weigh Yourself Every Day
People who weigh themselves every day have more control. Follow the rule of “5”: Try to stay 5 pounds over or under your ideal weight. Figure out your ideal weight and become the boss of your own health.
What is BMI?
Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to men, women, teens and children.
BMI is calculated by using your weight in kilograms divided by the square of your height in centimeters.
BMI correlates to body fat. The higher the number, the more body fat you may have. But it’s not always accurate and BMI alone does not diagnose health.
The right amount of body fat helps vitamins and minerals get absorbed. It also provides energy and helps maintain body temperature which protects your organs.
