DO NOT consume more than 1 gallon of water per day. When the body contains too much water (and dilutes essential electrolytes) it can develop water intoxication. This is a very dangerous condition known as hyponatremia.

Drinking the right amount of water every day will give your body what it needs to carry out its basic functions. And it will help to prevent you from getting sick.

Don’t Eat & Drink
at the Same Time

Drink water 30 minutes before eating. Eat, then wait another 30 minutes before any additional water/drink.

A 30-minute break between eating and drinking is essential. Food is diluted with any beverage, especially water, so you do not get the full nutritional value—the reason why people are always hungry and tend to overeat.

Eat Fruit for Breakfast

Fruit is best consumed on an empty stomach—that’s why it’s perfect for breakfast.
Americans should consume approximately $2.00 worth of fruit per day.

Mix the Right Foods

How your body absorbs nutrients from the foods you eat is important to learn. If you eat the right mix, you will feel more full after eating, have less tummy discomfort, and begin to lose weight.

Carbohydrates are best mixed with other carbohydrates and vegetables. If you eat these two foods together, you will benefit from proper digestion and maximum nutrient absorption.
